We call for action and a continuous campaign of communication and community participation to make Holbox the island we need.
Holbox Circular promotes a sustainable corridor in Paseo Kuká and Tiburón Ballena through collaboration between hotels, restaurants and residents. Other actors such as the Taxi Drivers Union and the Fishermen's Cooperative are joining in to strengthen the project.
The objective of our project is for different sectors of the Holbox population to collaborate and actively participate in favor of a Circular Holbox, with the Fundación Tláloc methodology “The City We Need”, focusing on the comprehensive management of the island's waste within a period of three years.

TOGETHER WE TAKE ACTION IN FAVOR OF THE ISLAND AND LEAVE A NEW MARK.
The socialization workshop was held on Tuesday, June 11, at the Taxi Drivers Union of Isla Holbox, Quintana Roo, Mexico, and represented another step towards the realization of the Holbox Circular project.
The purpose of this workshop was to present a concrete work agenda to promote sustainability on the island. The agenda focuses on the SIRAA Model (Raise Awareness, Inform, Reflect, Call to Action and Learn) to promote sustainable communities.
In this workshop, a participatory space was generated where the various local actors could know the most voted proposals for the circular Holbox corridor and for the entire island, in addition to the PET separation, reception and collection program, with the participation of Pettstar, for the benefit of the Animal Holbox refuge.
