INTERNATIONAL AGENDA
LOCAL SCOPE
HYDROLOGICAL MODEL
The Strategic Hydrological Cycle explains our logic of action as a foundation, it is the way in which we understand that the international framework is translated into local actions, and in turn, these local actions nurture that great international framework. This cyclical process helps us measure the value and significance of individual actions and local projects.
It gives meaning to local action from a global perspective.
It is an invitation to know and understand the international agenda on sustainability so that it guides the design and implementation of projects.
The sustainable development goals It is the roadmap set by the United Nations to advance towards sustainability without leaving anyone behind
In 2007 we created the Sustainable Decalogue, which is a proposal to translate the international framework and the ethical framework into actions. It is made up of 10 movements related to critical issues to achieve sustainability.
We seek to provoke a shower of projects on critical issues towards sustainability and that, aligned to the international agenda, find in the sustainable decalogue the platform so that they have a reflection in actions, in the territory and in reality.
When the rain of projects soaks people with awareness, sensitizing them and leading them to action, they generate a positive impact on the environment, thus resulting in an expansive wave that permeates and is touched by the expansive wave of another person or another project.
The rain and the expansive waves make up the bodies of water that advance and form the river that is permeating, generating that fertile area on the margins. Individual and collaborative actions nurture this flow.
There are three forms of glocal participation:
Individual
Collaborative
Social author
Individual: it is the conscious decision and action of each of the people in their daily life, assuming themselves as part of the solution.
Collaborative: where people offer their time either as a public, to give meaning to the existing offer of cultural, social, environmental activities and to strengthen the social fabric in their community; Or as volunteers helping in a cause in which they believe.
Social authors are people who are actively involved in a project, whether they are their own or who make their own and contribute their skills and talents to the management of that project.
Evaporation is the diffusion that makes local actions transcend the ground to form the clouds of the international framework again. Local actions, when known and studied, nurture the international dialogue with premises, principles and postulates that are being incorporated into the international agenda.
The Earth Charter is the ethical framework that guides the actions of the global community
